Nestled along the scenic Candon Diversion Road in Vigan City, Kardo's Grill House serves as a vibrant hotspot for lovers of Filipino grilled cuisine and hearty communal dining. This restaurant masterfully blends a laid-back, approachable atmosphere with a diverse menu that caters to meat and seafood enthusiasts alike. The inviting chill vibe, accentuated by live acoustic music, makes it an ideal setting to unwind and savor authentic flavors of the region.
Kardo's Grill House specializes in an all-you-can-eat grill experience that truly delights the senses. Diners are treated to generous spreads of perfectly charred chicken, tender pork, juicy beef, and the freshest seafood—each grilled to smoky, caramelized perfection. The rich aroma of grilled meats mingling with the subtle ocean breezes whets your appetite before every bite. Signature dishes like their lechon offer that satisfying crisp skin and succulent meat, while their sinigang — a classic Filipino sour soup — provides a comforting, tangy counterbalance to the hearty grills.
Beyond the grill, Kardo's presents a unique twist with its seafood boodle fight—an exuberant feast served communal style, featuring fresh catch and traditional accouterments laid out on banana leaves. It’s a joyous experience, especially for families or large groups. The buffet options also come highly recommended, presenting an array of diverse, flavorful dishes that bring a nostalgic yet fresh fusion of flavors to the table.
Customer experiences often highlight not just the quality of food but also the welcoming vibe and attentive service. Staff like James have been praised for their courteous and accommodating nature, enhancing the warm, community feel of the place. The expansive parking area adds convenience for visitors driving in, although those relying on public transport might find access a bit challenging due to its location. While most patrons feel well taken care of, some have noted a desire for more consistent enthusiasm from all serving staff, suggesting that frontline hospitality could match the excellence of the kitchen.
Overall, Kardo's Grill House embodies an authentic, flavorful, and hospitable Filipino dining adventure. Whether you're craving an endless grill buffet, a seafood boodle fight, or a relaxed spot where live music fills the air, this venue captures the spirited essence of Ilocos Sur's culinary and cultural charm. If you find yourself near Vigan, Kardo's promises a satisfying meal wrapped in a vibrant, laid-back setting that invites you to savor every moment.

Lechon and sinigang were good enough, not super special. Live music and clean. Big menu, maybe they should specialize more?

Nice place. If you are craving for seafood boodle fight, this place is a go to. Staff are friendly and attentive to your needs and requests. Be sure you have your own vehicle if you want to eat here because it's located in the diversion road, and only a few tricycle pass by.

Maybe I expected too much for a 3500 peso meal -- we should've taken the buffet instead. The boodle fight prices were okay, medyo konti lang serving so we've ordered 3 additional liempos and sinigang masala but everyone was happy and full so I'm still giving them 4 stars. The waitresses were nice, I hope the tips are going to them. Pero yung mga guys serving the food were a bit rude. Baka sobrang pagod na din siguro considering the restaurant being full that time.

The food was really great but the staff should change their attitude towards guests. They're looking at you as if you can't afford the bill or whatever. They looked tired or just lazy and couldn't even greet the customer with a proper smile or enthusiasm.
